In a Radio Times article, Radio One DJ and breastfeeding mum Edith Bowman talks to Colin Murray about her experiences of breastfeeding in public, among other baby related stuff. She is currently breastfeeding her second child and says that it is more women who are critical of breastfeeding in public than men.
The Radio One DJ, who breastfeeds in public herself, said in a Radio Times interview: “You can get some amazing contraptions that help you be as discreet as possible.” I wonder if she is talking about Mamascarf!
Bump Club is on Radio 5 Live at 11am on Sunday.
It is great when celebrities breastfeed in public as it really helps to normalise it. What are your experiences of breastfeeding in public? Do you think that women are more critical than men? Why do you think that is? Feel free to pop your comments below or email me firstname.lastname@example.org I would love to hear your opinion.
