The lovely Hannah from A New Addition is the second in our Mama Style series. We caught up with her to ask about her style…
What is your Mama Style? Looking through my wardrobe and seeing my various coloured skinny jeans and stacks of t-shirts I would say that would be my main style. I love a cool t-shirt with a funky quote or graphic on. Although teaming this with one of my favourite buys at the moment would be my topshop denim short length waist coat jacket, and in my eyes at the moment it will practically go with anything and I love it! If we were to start talking shoe wear I could probably go on forever about the amount I have stored in my room but to narrow them down to my absolute favourite styles it would be my dr marten boot, my brogues and loafers J
Top tip for pregnancy wardrobe? The biggest tip I could give no matter how clichéd is to be comfy, I lived in leggings, long tops and pretty stretchy dresses in my second pregnancy. Although a treat to myself on my first trip shopping after he was born was a pair of wedges.
New mums style tip? If you are breastfeeding, along with a Mamascarf which went everywhere with me, I used to wear a thin vest top under any top I had on, that way I could pull my breast out to feed my baby without exposes my stomach. I call this the one up, one down technique. Another thing I enjoyed wearing was oversized cardigans and jumpers, this still stands today and I will often wear one of my other half’s jumpers with some skinny jeans and my doctor martens!
Mamascarf style? For my Mamascarf style I picked the retro leaf as it is one of my favourites, I decided to go with my usual style, a pair of brogues, a cool t-shirt which I actually now think I have to buy. A bright pair of skinny jeans a leather jacket and a tote or satchel.
Thanks Hannah, I am loving the brogues and the camel with the bright blue! What was your favourite maternity or breastfeeding outfit? Pop your comments below, we would love to hear from you.
