Pnterest is awash with beautiful Christmas crafts right now and there are so many little projects that we can’t wait to get stuck into! And because there are so many, we thought we would post a little roundup of the ones we really love. You’re welcome. And do let us know if you try any!
First of all, we really love the look of these beautiful ‘Mistletoes’- perfect for marking baby’s first Christmas! (image from here) There are lots more ideas for marking babys first Christmas too- check out this beautiful footprint on a bauble, footprint Christmas tree and of course there are the salt dough hand prints too! These ones are painted to look like Santa- how cute?!
And talking of salt dough- there are so many different ways to use it! Have you ever thought of making candle holders? We love this easy how-to guide from The Nurture Store. We also love these beautiful star shapes made from salt dough- perfect to hang from the Christmas tree. Lastly, Mama Designs is planning to get the little ones busy with salt dough and the senses with these wonderful scented gingerbread people ornaments- LOVE these! Thanks for sharing My Little 3 and Me!
Moving away from salt dough (if we really must!), we’ve also been admiring a lot of the handmade cards that are starting to pop up on Pinterest too. How cute are these ribbons and buttons cards from The Papered Cottage? We also love these beautiful fab baubles cards from Red Ted Art.
If you have preschoolers at home with you, you really must get on to Pinterest to check out the wealth of Christmas craft activities that are over there too. We love these lovely Christmas trees using lollypop sticks and sequins from Outside the Preschool Box– great for little ones to make. And here are 10 preschool Christmas crafts for you to browse through too!
We’ll leave you with one little craft project that has been popping up time and again and one- I recently discovered- that is actually a lot easier than it look: giant paper snowflakes! A must-do this Christmas! (image from Katy Did and Kid)
