This month we’re looking forward to the summer holidays and we’ve dedicated #SnoodieStyle to summer travel! If you’re going away, do pop over and tell us where you’re off to. In the meantime, here are this month’s outfits styled to our unique Snoodie dribble bibs, along with some of your tried and tested travel tips.
Outfit one: BHS boys do travel
We loved this smart and snappy outfit from BHS, because a boy has to look his best when he’s off on his holidays! The red, blue and yellow check detail on the shirt is bright and fun and the deep red chinos will be comfortable and cool too. We teamed this outfit with chambray pumps and our navy stars Snoodie for the ultimate in travel style.
*Travel tip: share everyone’s clothes into all the suitcases that you take on holiday, so that if any case does go astray, everyone has some clothes to wear. Its a good idea to take spare clothes for little ones in your hand luggage too, in case of any accidents en route.
Outfit two: BHS girls do travel
Your little princess will be cool and collected in this cute outfit from BHS. The soft lime green top goes perfectly with casual chambray shorts and we love the spotty white pumps too. This look is completed with our vibrant green Snoodie and we think you’ll agree that all the other baby girls will be matching with envy!
*Travel tip: Take lots of ‘to-do’ activities with you in case you’re delayed. Paper, crayons, mini magnetic doodles, books and a portable DVD player are all great options. For longer journeys, wrap small items in wrapping paper to give to your little ones to open at regular intervals. And don’t forget plenty of snacks too- you all need to keep your energy up!
Outfit three: Alex and Alexa boys do travel
We love this Kissy Kissy striped tee with shorts and teamed them with bright blue converse, both from Alex and Alexa. This look is perfect with the bright red spots Snoodie- who doesn’t love spots and stripes?
*Travel tip: If you’re flying with little ones, don’t forget to pack infant paracetamol and a bottle or cup for take off and landing. It helps to suck something to combat ears popping. It’s also a good idea to pack extra nappies and wipes too, just in case.
Outfit four: Alex and Alexa girls do travel
We couldn’t resist this Oilily windmill dress- light and easy to pop on whilst travelling. We teamed this with a simple pink cardi, a pair of beautiful coral Converse velcro pumps and the hot pink/ grey stars Snoodie. It’s a girl’s prerogative to change her mind, you know!
*Travel tip: when travelling, choose clothes that are easy to get on and off for emergency changes or nappy changes. Also, remember that if you’re travelling to warmer climates, its a good idea to apply layers that can be removed when you reach your destination.
