Tell us a bit about the business and the idea behind it?
Milk and Poop started out as a few scribbles in a notepad in the weeks that followed our son being born. My husband and I really struggled to find nursery products that felt like ‘us’. We loved some of the independent Scandi brands but they were so expensive, we decided to create our own. We started matching a hand picked selection of more affordable contemporary nursery products with our own exclusive designs. We wanted to take the hassle out of designing your nursery and create the perfect gift to prep for your new arrival.

How do you juggle family and business?
I would be lying if I said it was easy juggling work and family but it’s surprising how productive us mamas can be when we put our minds to it! I start my day by writing three work things and three life admin things that I want to complete. Three is the magic formula. Any more than that and it all goes haywire!
Best thing about running your own business?
I love the freedom that running my own business provides. It’s hard work but I can make it fit around me and my family. Plus, I feel like I’m doing something important. I’m showing my son that if you work hard and believe in yourself, you really can do anything.
Favourite Mama Designs product?
The mint cellular blanket is my absolute fave Mama Designs product.
